9-PATCH BLOCKS NEEDED!

The Southern Tier Hospice and Palliative Care is in need of comfort quilts that are appropriate for men, so in honor of Father's Day let's work together to make a few quilts for the men who are in hospice care. 

Make 12 ½" (unfinished) 9-Patch blocks (4 ½" squares or strips) in masculine colored plaids, stripes or shirting fabrics.  Please bring your finished blocks to the June meeting.  We will sew the tops together during Charity Quilting on June 27th.

Cindy Yost French Workshop

Cindy Yost French presented a workshop on beading earlier this week. Please bring your completed projects to next month's show-and-tell!

Space Available

There are four spaces available for the Wednesday, May 23 beading workshop with Cindy Yost-French.  In the morning you will learn how to embellish quilts with beads and then in the afternoon you will put your new skills to work by making a beaded scissors case.  This workshop will be an exciting and informative day for any quilter who wants to add a little bling to a quilt, tote bag or even clothing.  To reserve your space contact Dori S. or Ava K. as soon as possible.
