MLQG Board Meeting Rescheduled

Note that the next MLQG board meeting has been rescheduled to Monday, November 19th at 5:30 PM at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center in Wellsboro,  PA. MLQG officers and chairs (outgoing and incoming) are strongly encouraged to attend. This is the same night as the monthly guild meeting.

All guild members are also welcome to attend and participate.

Open Sewing at the Gmeiner -- Monday, October 29th

Next Open Sewing Session

 Monday,  October 29th at the Gmeiner 10:00 - 12:30

All MLQG members of all ability levels and interests are welcome to attend the open sewing sessions at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center (where the monthly guild meetings are held) on Mondays to work on any stitching projects, hand or machine, even knitting, crocheting, or embroidery.

The purpose of these get-togethers is to spend time with other MLQG fiber fanatics and to learn from each other, no matter what we're all working on. Bring your projects, machine, and lunch. Stay for an hour or stay all day. Just be warned that if only a couple of people show up, we may pack up early and leave before noon. Cancellations will be posted on the guild's blog/website/Facebook page.

Happy Hour Sewing in Corning -- Tuesday, October 23rd

Just a reminder that Happy Hour Sewing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23rd at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 149 West William Street, in Corning, NY  5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

This is open sewing time for MLQG members and other guests to work on their own projects or community outreach projects. Please feel free to join us for a fun-filled evening of sewing and sharing.

October MLQG Meeting

Big news! We will have a special guest presenting ribbons for the 2018 exhibit. Come to the meeting this coming Monday night, October 15th at 7PM at the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center in Wellsboro and enjoy a night of fun! The raffle quilt winner will be chosen, and the ribbons for the exhibit will be presented, with great fanfare, by one of our own celebrities. This is always a fun meeting, filled with surprises!
