The next guild workshop will be held on March 28th 2020 at the First Presbyterian Church in Wellsboro,  9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The class will be on man sewing taught by Erin Scheetz. She did a presentation on this at a guild meeting in the fall. Erin will have some supplies available at the workshop.

The cost of the workshop will be $15.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members. Contact MLQG workshop chair Ann K. for details and to sign up. Her contact info can be found on the guild roster and in the newsletters. There will also be a signup sheet at the January 20th MLQG meeting.

Man sewing is a program started by Rob Appell about 4 years ago. He is a man who likes to sew and be creative in his designs. Man sewing is for anyone who likes to sew and quilt.

MLQG 2020 Raffle Quilt Photos

MLQG's 2020 raffle quilt is complete and ready for a new home (but not until October)!

The guild's raffle quilt was revealed at the November 2019 guild meeting, and we're now in the process of selling tickets. Members are encouraged to get a few books of tickets to sell from raffle quilt ticket chair Ellen M. at guild meetings or at other arranged times. Her contact info can be found on the guild's roster, or you can use the "contact us" form on this blog. The cost is $1/ticket or $5/6 tickets. The drawing will be held at the October 19, 2020 MLQG meeting.

Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales go toward guild programs and activities, so the more we sell, the more we can do in the upcoming years! When selling tickets, feel free to use these photos to show how gorgeous the quilt is.

As we've said before, a big THANK YOU goes to all MLQG members who helped make this quilt a reality. MLQG Rocks!
