Kackling Kousins Lecture/Workshop
The MLQG Monthly Meeting was held on Monday, November 10th, featuring a program led by the Kackling Kousins, Kate Mulberger and Kelly Henry. They captivated the audience with their presentation, which was filled with history and beautiful quilts. After the meeting concluded, the Kackling Kousins transitioned into a hands-on workshop focused on creating Civil War Potholder Quilts. This workshop provided participants with the opportunity to learn new quilting techniques while exploring the historical significance of quilts from the Civil War era. Attendees left feeling inspired and excited to apply their newfound skills in their own quilting projects.

October PATCH Meeting
The final PATCH meeting of 2025 took place on Friday, October 24th, at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center. During this gathering, members collaborated to finish several ongoing projects, including three quilt tops and multiple NICU mattress covers for the Hershey Children's Medical Center. After a short break for the holidays, PATCH will reconvene on January 23rd.

October Outreach Update
Seven comfort quilts, two NICU mattress covers for the Hershey Children's Hospital, two placemats for Meals on Wheels, three Humble Haversacks and ten Bumble Bags for the Humble Bumble Project were donated at the September meeting.
