Sue D. and Rochelle W., from Concern, an agency for foster care in Tioga County, presented a plaque to the guild in appreciation for the donated quilts made by guild members over the years. Dori S. and Lynn G., chairwomen of the guild's Community Outreach Committee, accepted the plaque on behalf of the guild while President, Kate M. , looked on. Sue expressed her gratitude to our guild members for their many years of supporting the Concern organization, and shared stories of how meaningful it is for a child entering foster care to receive a handmade quilt made for them by a caring member of the community.
