Open Sewing at the Gmeiner -- Monday, August 10th

Next Open Sewing Session
 Monday,  August 10th at the Gmeiner 10:00 - 2:00

MLQG's daytime open sewing sessions have officially moved to Mondays, 10:00 - 2:00. The new location is the back room of the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center (where the monthly guild meetings are held).

All MLQG members of all ability levels and interests are welcome to attend on open sewing Mondays and work on any stitching projects, hand or machine, even knitting/crocheting/embroidery. The fourth Monday of the month will be reserved for charity sewing.

The purpose of these get-togethers is to spend time with other MLQG fiber fanatics and to learn from each other, no matter what we're all working on. Bring your projects, machine, and lunch. Stay for an hour or stay all day. Just be warned that if only a couple of people show up, we may pack up early and leave before noon. Cancellations will be posted on the guild's blog/website/Facebook page.

If you need more info contact Susan McC., Dori S., Anya T., or Peggi Y., or comment on this blog post.

  1. Are there any more open spots at the quilt retreat? I just joined the guild last month. Thanks!
