Open Sewing And Charity Quilting Are BACK!

Based on the amount of charity work that our guild does, the Masons have agreed to allow us to use their lodge on Wednesdays for Open Sewing and Charity Quilting, free of charge!  A very generous offer indeed!  If you know a Mason who is a member of the Ossea Masonic Lodge, please thank him and as you are able support their charitable efforts in return.

Open Sewing will resume Wednesday, April 16 at the Masonic Lodge on Kelsey Street from 10:00 until 2:00.  All guild members of all ability levels and interests are welcome to attend and may work on any stitching projects (hand or machine, even knitting, crocheting, or embroidery).  Bring your own sewing supplies (there is an iron and ironing board at the lodge for our use), machine, and a bag lunch.

Charity Quilting will be held on Wednesday, April 23 (and the fourth Wednesday of every month) at the Masonic Lodge from 10:00 until 2:00.  As always, all guild members are welcome to attend.  This month we will be working on a red, white and blue Anita's Arrowhead quilt for Quilts of Valor.  If you missed out on the workshop in January, this is your chance to learn how to make this fascinating block!  Bring your own sewing supplies, machine, and a bag lunch. Fabric will be provided.

If you need directions to the lodge or want more information, please contact Anya T., Dori S., or Susan McC. (check your roster for contact information or comment on this blog post).
