MLQG Guild Roster Update

Image result for free clip art please confirm
On April 26th, an email went out to MLQG members with a draft roster for 2019. Members were asked to check their own information on the roster and respond with either corrections or confirmation of accuracy. If you haven't done this, please do so now. Newsletters and other guild information depend on the accuracy of the roster.

Please respond to newsletter editor Peggi Y. (her contact info is in every issue of the guild newsletter).

Thanks for your help!

MLQG Raffle Quilt Progress -- Neutral Fabrics Needed

Several MLQG members worked hard on our next raffle quilt yesterday. (See yesterday's blog post for more photos.)

The center of the quilt is finished, but now we need to work on the first border, which will consist of scrappy blocks made with light neutral fabrics. This border will have some applique added on top. Then there will be another border of the regular scrappy blocks added around the neutral blocks.

In order to make these blocks, we need more neutral fabric. So if you have some strips, strings, or chunks of light tan/cream/white fabrics (lighter than a brown paper bag) that you are willing to donate, please bring them to the April MLQG meeting. Please, no more than one quart-size bag per person.

Completed center -- Looking good!
Thank you to all guild members who have contributed fabric and/or have made blocks, as well as to those who worked at the Gmeiner yesterday.
