Just a reminder that all MLQG members of all ability levels are welcome to come to the Beyond Jane open sewing session at the lake house on Tuesday, March 5th. We start at 10AM and finish up around 3PM. Come anytime.
Bring whatever stitching project your working on (hand or machine), your lunch, and any supplies you need. Spend some time with fellow guild members who understand your passion about quilting. It's cheaper than therapy and a lot more fun!

Charity Quilting Canceled
Due to the threat of several inches of snow, sleet, and ice over the next 24 hours, charity quilting scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 27th, has been canceled. Let's hope that spring will be in full bloom by our next meeting on March 27th!

Charity Quilting will be held Wednesday, February 27th at the lake house 10:00AM - ?
The project this month will be finishing a quilt top for Quilts of Valor. All guild members of all ability levels are welcome -- no need to bring fabric, just your sewing machine and a willingness to help. Stay for an hour or stay the entire time. Bring a lunch. Even if you've never attended one of the MLQG charity sewing sessions before, you can join us anytime!

Mini-Retreat to Celebrate National Quilting Day
Come celebrate National Quilting Day with your fellow guild members at a mini-retreat to be held on Saturday, March 16th at the Masonic Lodge on Kelsey Street in Wellsboro. We'll start at 9:00 and finish up around 4:00. The cost is just $5 and a dish-to-pass for lunch. You may bring any stitching projects you like...hand or machine...sewing, quilting, embroidery, knitting, crocheting...Anything to do with fiber. If you need help with something, this is a great place to get advice (whether you want it or not!).
If you are interested and did not sign up at the guild meeting on Monday, please contact Anya T. to get on the list (contact info is in your newsletter and roster). Or leave a comment on this blog post. Payment is due by March 9th, with checks payable to MLQG. You can also give your check/cash to Anya at the March 5th Beyond Jane open sewing session at the lake house.

Guild members and guests are encouraged to bring their red and white quilts (small or large, new or old) for a special show and tell after the evening's program. Regular show and tell will be held as well.
UFO #2 is due this month.
A few spots remain for the quilted hooded jacket workshop. Check your February newsletter for details or sign up at the Feb 18th meeting.
