April Show & Tell

 A few highlights of Show & Tell from the April meeting...

Bargello Flag Workshop

 

18 members of the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild participated in the Bargello Flag Workshop taught by Lisa Meachem on Monday, March 12th.  The group enjoyed a fun filled day of sewing, along with a soup and salad bar lunch, sweet treats, door prizes, laughter and friendship.

March PATCH Meeting

At the Gmeiner Art & Cultural Center on Friday, the MLQG membership gathered for their monthly PATCH meeting, working together to create 'Falling Charms' quilt tops, which will be donated to children in foster care and veterans in hospice when completed.

February Program Details

February Meeting Cancelled

Due to outrageous cold, wind, and icy roads, we will not meet on Monday, February 17. Our tea party will happen next month. More information to follow.

The Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild will gather for its February meeting on Monday, February 17th at 7:00 PM. This month's tea party theme is "For the Love(land) of Hearts," so please bring a teacup and any heart-themed project to showcase your passion for quilting. Enjoy tea, cookies, door prizes, and a great time together!

January Show & Tell

MLQG January Meeting

The January meeting of the MLQG was held Monday, January 20th at the Gmeiner Art and Cultural Center.  The group was treated to a trunk show of the "Precious Few" quilts of Elizabeth Emily (Cleary) Mahonske as presented by her son, Adam Mohonske, and what an amazing tribute it was to his mother and her love of quilting!
