Six comfort quilts, six NICU mattress covers for the Hershey Children's Hospital, twelve placemats for Meals on Wheels, three We Honor with Quilts for veterans in hospice care, four Humble Haversacks and one Bumble Bag for the Humble Bumble Project were donated at the December meeting.
Judging by December's Show and Tell, it's going to be a fantastic quilting season!
Please note that our annual Christmas party is scheduled for MONDAY, DECEMBER 8TH from noon until 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church, 130 Main Street, Wellsboro. Kindly bring a dish to pass, your own tableware, a donation for the Wellsboro Food Pantry, and remember to bring your show and tell.

The MLQG Monthly Meeting was held on Monday, November 10th, featuring a program led by the Kackling Kousins, Kate Mulberger and Kelly Henry. They captivated the audience with their presentation, which was filled with history and beautiful quilts. After the meeting concluded, the Kackling Kousins transitioned into a hands-on workshop focused on creating Civil War Potholder Quilts. This workshop provided participants with the opportunity to learn new quilting techniques while exploring the historical significance of quilts from the Civil War era. Attendees left feeling inspired and excited to apply their newfound skills in their own quilting projects.
