June Outreach Update

 

Seven quilts for Foster Care, two We Honor with Quilts for veterans in hospice care, nine Humble Haversacks and two Bumble Bags for the Humble Bumble Project, and three placemats for Meals on Wheels were donated at the June meeting.

Glorified Nine-Patch with Gyleen Fitzgerald

The Glorified Nine-Patch workshop, led by national instructor, Gyleen Fitzgerald, centered around the vibrant themes of color, precise piecing, and the joys of fun, food, and friendship.

 

National Speaker - Gyleen Fizgerald

Gyleen Fitzgerald, a well-known quilt instructor, was the featured speaker at the Mountain Laurel Quilt Guild's May meeting. Her presentation on effectively using color was a hit, leaving attendees inspired and eager to apply new techniques in their quilting projects.
