Modern Quilt Group Reminder

An organizational meeting for the guild's new modern quilt group will be held at the lake house this coming Monday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m.  If there is enough interest, a decision as a group will be made on how to proceed.  If you have books on modern quilting or modern quilts, please bring them along. Snacks and beverages will be offered.

April Open Sewing

All MLQG members are welcome to come for an open sewing session on Tuesday April 2nd  at the lake house from 10AM until 3PM.

All guild members of all ability levels are welcome...bring your machine or hand projects, sewing machine, and your lunch. Come see what other guild members are working on and enjoy the company of other fiber addicts. MODERN QUILTING*

SIMPLE, FRESH, GEOMETRIC, CURRENT, IMPROVISATIONAL, BOLD, GRAPHIC and FUN!

Quilts and Blankets for CONCERN

These quilts and blankets were recently delivered to CONCERN and will be handed out to children entering into Tioga County's foster care program.  The social worker who accepted them was so excited to see all of the bright colors and cheerful prints and said that they would certainly help bring a little comfort to children in a sometimes frightening situation.
