We had a good group of MLQG members stitching on the Green last Thursday and we're planning on doing it again this week.
The next "Stitching in Public" Day will be this upcoming Thursday, July 19th on the Green in Wellsboro. Come any time after 12:00 noon -- bring your lunch, a chair, and your hand work (sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc -- any type of hand work is fine). Or if you need advice on a project, there will be plenty of opinions to share!
The Wellsboro Growers' Market opens at 3PM on Thursdays on the lawn of the First Presbyterian Church, not far from the Green. After you're done stitching, head on over there for lots of local summer goodies. Say hi to guild member Tess McCarthy at her booth (Starbright Farm).
Of course, this is weather-dependent, so if the sky and the forecast look iffy....we'll have to postpone until the following Thursday. Keep an eye on the guild's blog, website, and Facebook page for updates.
