Hi Quilt Guild
A fun-filled mini-retreat is planned for 7/17/21 from 9 AM. To 4 PM. Bring your lunch. Snacks, and drinks provided. All are welcome. At lunch, we will have a game please bring 10 5x5 squares – 5 light and 5 contrasting for lunch fun.
Plans for the day are to work with Carla Klop shortcut sheets. You may choose to do one or all four work on your own or with a buddy. We will work on flying geese, ½ square triangle, ¼ square triangle, and hunter star block. At the end of the day, we will gather to share our discoveries. - Bring your machine, rulers, mats, pressing stick (if you have one), etc.
- Rough material size needed.
- ½ square- 2 fat quarters contrasting colors
- Flying geese- 2 or more fat quarters or ¼ yard piece of contrasting fabric.
- Hunter star- ½ yard of 2 colors, 1/3 yard of 2 other coordinating colors.
- Quarter square triangle- ½ yard or 2 fat quarter of contrasting fabrics and ½ yard or 2 fat quarters to add to it.
- Bring enough for one or all. The amount of fabric need is a general amount. Or just bring fabric to cut while here. Tutorials have more information. Precision in cutting and sewing a scant ¼ inch makes her techniques work.

To get there from Wellsboro take rt. 6, turn right at E. Mulberry Hill Rd before you get to rt. 15.
From rt. 15 and Mansfield go towards Wellsboro (pass under 15) take the first road to your left E. Mulberry Hill. Cross Valley and go up the hill to the first left. If you miss it take the 2nd left. Mulberry Lane is a circle, the university is usually still in sight.
