Edited to correct date for the Singing Quilter --
Here are some updates from this month's meeting --
UFO #2 is due in February (for those participating);
Our February program will feature red and white quilts. Members are encouraged to bring their own red and white quilts (any size) to show;
Mary Jo Powley's program highlighting her quilt shop, Sew Pieceful in Campbell, NY, has been rescheduled for our April meeting;
Betty W-R will teach a workshop on the quilted hooded jacket on February 23rd -- details will be in the February newsletter and signups will begin as soon as the newsletter is published;
Our May program will feature nationally known lecturer, author, and quilter Gyleen Fitzgerald. Note that the meeting will be on Friday, May 17th instead of our regularly scheduled Monday meeting. Gyleen will also teach a workshop on Saturday, May 18th -- subject TBA. You can read more about Gyleen on her website;
Carrie S. is still looking for her missing glass casserole lid. Someone took hers home by mistake from the holiday party. Please check and make sure that you took the right lid home with you -- you may have Carrie's and she has yours;
Exciting news for 2014 -- Cathy Miller, also known as the Singing Quilter, will be here in May and Kim Diehl will be our guest in July;
Our new Outreach Project was detailed in a previous blog post.
